Land's End Productions begins post on 'Blood of the Father'

It's a done deal.

Alex Alamul dropped off the source tapes for Blood of the Father, our next collaboration in independent movie production. Alex completed shooting earlier this month and now the post process is set to go. I'll be posting updates as things progress.

And so it Begins

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more...

Yes, it's that time again. Good friend and colleague, Alex Alamul, has started shooting on our new feature flick, First Born. Filming in the Santa Cruz area, it's about a brother and sister whose parents have perished in a tragic accident and the strange goings on as they try to come to terms with their loss.

Based on a story by Natalie Zivolup (the author of our previous feature Wrong Turn), I, and Michael Gale, wrote the screenplay and Land's End Productions will be doing the postproduction on the film.

New Web Site Layout

Welcome to LEP's new look. I hope you like it.

While the previous site did its duty like a trooper it was finally getting a little old in Internet years. It was powered by Mambo, a Content Management System that worked very well, but it had gotten a few versions away from current and was becoming a security risk. Everytime I'd try to upgrade it would break something and I'd have to restore from backups. Frustrating.

So I decided to re-write it over the holiday season and bring it up to the current XHTML standard. It's a bit more streamlined and easier to navigate I hope. Bits and pieces are still under construction but most of it is in the right place.
